Gospel for Unreached in Ayodhya Lanka, India

Beloved in Jesus Christ,

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you so much for all your Prayers and Support for my ministry in India. Now I am submitting few lines to you about our newly started Church in Ayodhya Lanka.

Ayodhya Lanka is a very small village.   This village is in the center of the river Godavari.  There is no proper road for this village.  There is only one way in the center of river Godavari to go this village.  Sometimes this road will cover with river water.  That time they will use small boats to go to their village.  Because of that in this village mostly all are fishermen.

Recently our Jesus Gospel Ministry team reached this Ayodhya Lanka village with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We all went by walk to this village to give the Gospel.  Because there is no travelling facilities to this village.  We gave them Gospel Tracts door to door, all the pastors are Preached the Gospel on the Streets and road corners and prayed for sick people.  So many hindu people are came to know about Jesus Christ and accepted as their Lord and Savior.  Now we started a small Church in this village.  Pastor Mani Raju  is taking care for this new Church in Ayodhya Lanka village.  Amen  Hallelujah  All the Glory to God.  The Bible says in Isaiah 56 : 7  " Even them I will bring to My Holy mountain, And make them Joyful in My House of Prayer.  Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My Altar; For My House shall be called a House of Prayer for all nations."

Now we are planning to buy a land to construct a Church in this village.  We are planning to buy 300 square yards for Church construction.  One square yard is for 500 rupees that is equal to 10 US dollars.  To Buy 300 square yards we need 1,50,000 Rupees equal to 3,000 US dollars.  Please see the Gospel outreach video in Ayodhya Lanka.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkKJW5kA1lY

INDIA: New Amendment Could Affect Christian Evangelism

A proposed amendment to the "Freedom of Religion" law in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh poses a threat to potential converts to Christianity. Under the amendment, both a prospective convert and the minister who wishes to preside over a conversion ceremony would be required to provide a one-month advance notice to the district magistrate. It would also increase punishment (a three- to four-year prison term) and fines for non-compliance. The district magistrate and any investigating police officer would be required to ensure that no conversion results from force or allurement, mandates that could be used to impede true conversions.

Christians are concerned that this amendment grants too much power to
local authorities, who are likely to intimidate those of a minority religion and
hinder genuine conversions. It would also encourage the harassment of
Christian pastors and anyone seeking to convert.

Please pray that this bill, which is now awaiting the Governor's signature, does not become law. Pray that Christians in Madhya Pradesh will not be hindered in sharing the gospel.

Prayer need for North India Floods.

K.P. Yohannan, founder and president of Gospel for Asia has sent out a request for prayer for the victims of the severe floods in North India.







According to International Business Times India, 1,000 people are now feared dead and 80,000 people have been evacuated, while bad weather has impaired air operations.

INDIA: Pastor Beaten During Church Service

A pastor in Uttar Pradesh state was recently attacked during a church
service. Near the end of the service, a group of Hindu men tied Pastor
"Caleb" to a tree and beat him. The attackers, who apparently were directed by Hindu leaders in the village, broke Pastor Caleb's arm during the beating.

Pastor Caleb's church had been threatened in the past by high caste
families. It is understood that about five Christian families who have faithfully remained with the church had angered villagers by refusing to offer a gift to a Hindu goddess. A group from the village also became angry when the Christian families refused to help with the wedding of a high caste family's daughter.

Despite the recent attack, Pastor "Caleb" plans to continue his ministry in this volatile community. VOM partners are helping to provide him with medical treatment and are urging police to prosecute the attackers.

Pray that Pastor "Caleb" will recover quickly - physically, emotionally and spiritually. Pray for the safety of all Christians in the village and that the attackers will come to saving faith in Christ

"In the month of March we reached the unreached Hindu people in the village called Yerram Setty Palem. The people of this village are does not know Jesus Christ. They never heard about Jesus Christ and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because they are living very far away from the city. There is no proper road facility to this village. In this village there are so many people are living. Mostly they are all doing work in fields and cattle. We found In this village there is no church. They are worshipping the Idols and sacrasfing the goats and hens to the idols. We told them to stop sacrificing the animals and birds to the idols. We gave them Gospel Tracts, and small Christian books and New Testament Bibles. Some of the hindu people in this village heard the word of God and happily accepted Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior. They are all happily invited us to start a small Prayer group in Sunday. Sister Sarada one of the hindu women who are newly accepted Jesus give her house for church on every Sunday. Pastor Mohan Rao is taking care for this Yerram Setty Palem village church. All the Glory to God All Praises to God. Like this there are so many unreached rural villages living in darkness and in idolatry does not having a church and never heard the name of Jesus Christ and never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ in India. Our Jesus Gospel Ministry found these villages and telling them about Jesus Christ and Starting small prayer fellowship Churches. Until now we started 5 churches in the rural villages neared to Narsapur city. Please Pray for our Jesus Gospel ministry to reach many more unreached rural villages with Gospel of Jesus Christ in Andhra Pradesh. We are encouraging you to become a Prayer partner in this God's work."
