VERSE 1
You held out Your arms, I walked away
Insolent, I spurned Your face
Squandering the gifts You gave to me
Holding close forbidden things
Destitute, a rebel still, a fool in all my pride
The world I once enjoyed is death to me
No joy, no hope, no life
VERSE 2
Where now are the friends that I had bought
Gone with every penny lost
What hope could there be for such as I
Sold out to a world of lies
Oh to see Your face again, it seems so distant now
Could it be that You would take me back
A servant in Your house
VERSE 3
You held out Your arms, I see them still
You never left, You never will
Running to embrace me, now I know
Your cords of love will always hold
Mercy’s robe, a ring of grace
Such favor undeserved
You sing over me and celebrate
The rebel now Your child

World Watch Challenge 2015
Open Doors have released their World Watch List for 2015. This list highlights the 50 countries where Christian persecution is most severe. Please visit Open Doors (http://www.opendoorsuk.org/persecution/country_profiles.php) to view the complete list of countries, with profiles of each country and prayer points.
2 Timothy 2:8-13 (ESV)
8 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, 9 for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound! 10 Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 The saying is trustworthy, for:
If we have died with Him, we will also live with Him;
12 if we endure, we will also reign with Him;
if we deny Him, He also will deny us;
13 if we are faithless, He remains faithful—for He cannot deny Himself.
Take part in the World Watch Challenge!
Each week, please pray for one country on the Open Doors World Watch List 2015. You can find prayer points by visiting The World Watch Country Profiles 2015.

Love Your Enemies
Matthew 5:43-48 (ESV)
43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48 You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
